How upKeeper handles your personal information

upKeeper Solutions AB with VAT idenitification number 556751-1596, herinafter referred to as upKeeper, is a data controller for personal data according to the General Data Protection Regulation (2016:679). Data controllers are companies with which you have signed an agreement or for any other reason submitted your personal information. General information such as your name, contact details, title etc. are processed in upKeeper’s customer directory. upKeeper is the data controller responsible for processing this information.

Why do we need your personal information?

The information we gather about you is processed in accordance to the laws applicable at the time. The data is collected in order for us to sign and fulfil agreements, take actions requested by you before an agreement has been reached, make legal claims and to send out information newsletters. If you do not want your information to be used for newsletters from us you can let us know by calling +46 90 349 33 90 or sending us an email.

In some cases, it may be necessary to disclose your personal information to companies and organizations with which upKeeper cooperates, within or outside the EU/EEA area. Personal data may also be disclosed to authorities if required to do so by law.

How do we collect that information and store it?

Personal data might be collected through contracts, email, web and phone calls. The data can also be supplemented and updated with information from public records.

All personal data is stored in the EU/EEA. Your data will only be stored as long as it is necessary for us to fulfill our agreement with you, or as long as we have to store it by law. After that, we will delete it according to the Right to Erasure. We will not delete your personal information if there is a legal requirement to store it, or a legal basis for retaining it. We also store your personal information as provided to us in order to be able to submit an offer for a service, solution or product. Such personal information will be deleted after one year. We use disidentified information for statistical purposes and product development.

What are your rights?

You have the right to access what personal information we have about you. If the information is incorrect or incomplete, you may request that we correct or remove it. You can request a copy of your personal data by sending us a written request containing your name and your customer number. Sign the request and send it to the following address:
